Welcome to the Lewis University Community!

The Office of Admission is here to assist with you enrollment process, if needed.   Please contact us at admissions@lewisu.edu or (815) 836-5250 with any questions.

Now that you are an admitted student, please select the arrow in each step below for more details about enrolling at Lewis,

1. Submit Your Deposit

Click here to pay your $150 Tuition Deposit. You must enter the Lewis ID that was included on your acceptance letter. Deposits are fully refundable until May 1 (Fall start) or December 1 (Spring start). Deposits paid after those dates are non-refundable. NOTE: Deposits are not required for the adult accelerated programs.

2. Submit Your Housing Application

– If you plan to live on campus, you must complete the Housing Application through Star Rez and pay your tuition deposit. Housing Applications will only be considered complete once both steps are complete.

Helpful tips about Residence Life:

  • Lewis University requires all full-time first and second year students (0-59 credits earned) whose permanent address is outside the 30 mile radius of the Romeoville campus to live on campus.
  • You can also check out our Residence Life website to learn more about hall options and features.
  • Housing assignments for new students are made on a first come first serve basis and will be sent to students in late May or early June.

3. File for Financial Aid

- All admitted students are encouraged to submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), beginning October 1 for the next academic school year. You must add our school code (001707) to the FAFSA to have your financial information sent to our Office of Financial Aid.

Helpful Financial Aid Reminders:

  • Once your FAFSA is submitted, please monitor your email regularly for any additional documents that are requested in order to complete your financial aid record.
  • Award letters are typically mailed out within 3-4 weeks after receiving your FAFSA information (beginning early December). Please contact the Office of Admission or your Admission Counselor if you have any questions regarding your financial aid award.
  • Financial aid awards may be revised based on required documents that you submit after an initial offer is mailed out.
  • Students must remember to refile the FAFSA each year they plan to enroll in college.

4. Immunization Requirements

– Please review the State of Illinois Immunization Requirements for College Attendance.

Helpful Tips about Immunization Requirements:

  • All students enrolled in six or more credit hours on the Romeoville campus must provide evidence of the State of Illinois immunization requirements for college attendance.
  • These requirements are separate from any athletics or program-specific requirements, and it is the responsibility of the student to submit the required immunization records before the semester deadline (Fall semester: September 1st, Spring semester: February 1st). Students who have not submitted proof of all required immunizations by the compliance deadline will have a registration hold placed on their student account, which will prevent any future class registration or schedule changes. The hold cannot be removed until ALL requirements have been met.
  • Lewis University has partnered with Med+Proctor for immunization record verification. You must use your Lewis University email address and myLewis credentials to create your account. Please refer to our website, which includes details on the immunization requirements, submission process and instructions on how to register for your Med+Proctor account.
